Since the time of Renaissance, Fort Michelangelo has been overlooking the port of Civitavecchia which is a gateway to the city of Rome. The Eternal City itself is famous for its architectural masterpieces dating back to antiquity.

Colosseum
During the time of the Roman Empire, the Colosseum was a venue for gladiatorial combats. The largest amphitheater ever built was capable of seating more than 50.000 spectators.
